    Objectives

    • Set up a UNITA Graduate School (GS) that proposes interconnected learning programmes from the master level to the doctorate level
    • Definition of standards for the award of the UNITA label for Master/PhD programmes
    • Develop interconnected master and doctoral programmes targeting alliance thematic areas through research-based academic, practice-oriented and industrial-based training

    • Human Resources: List of staff on the task, roles and position: 33 persons (all universities are represented) involved in the task

    Profiles: Heads of Masters, Heads of doctoral schools, Leaders of existing Graduate Schools.

    • Financial: Budget allocated to the task: 30000€ for travels, subsistence, accommodation. 10000€ for other costs (2 500 per University that will organize once the Doctoriales/3min PhD).
    • Materials: Type of materials required (computers, software, scientific tools): Not at that step, but future needs for a web platform and lectures storage.

    Secondary indicators

    To be defined by T5.4 members previously to interviews and to be proposed to task co leader

    • Number of students applying to the UGS
    • Number of students participating to the shared courses.
    • Number of students participating in exchange programs or joint courses (Student mobility)
    • Number of submitted joint programmes: PhD co-tutelles, COFUND, Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions, Erasmus Mundus joint master programmes
      • For some (ex. Erasmus Mundus, COFUND) discussion need to be done at an executive level.
    • Job placement rates: assess the employment outcomes of students who have participated in joint programs or collaborations.
      • Difficult to evaluate due to time constraint
      • Choral COFUND program may help (but may not be fully consistent)
    • Percentage of Master students coming to PhD program (at university level)

    A4.4.1 Collect and chart current master and doctoral training activities - Collection of Cultural Heritage related Master degree and doctoral schools that are consistent with UGS criteria and UNITA strategy Excel sheet provided by Task 4.4.
    A4.4.2 Define standards for the eligibility of learning programmes for the UGS - Shared documents (one for students and one for programs) that provide an exhaustive list of all criteria/standards that are expected to fulfil a UGS certificate (for students) and “Label/Tag” (for programs) Two Word documents provided by Task 4.4.
