Help:Strapi

Strapi is the service we used on UNITApedia / the UNITA Datawarehouse to collect information manually through forms. You can access the plateform through this URL : unitapedia.univ-unita.eu/strapi/

This page will let guide you through the usage of the service. From the first login and account creation, to filling, editing, deleting information. Depending on your post and account; you will have access to more or less functionnality. This page will describe the global information on the service like creating your account and first login. We will also glide over the two type of account there is and will provide link to sub-tutorial for each type, depending on your need.

First login

If you have recieved a mail or link to create your account, you will be sent to the account creation form directly. Here, you will be able to change your first and last name and set a private password for your account. We recommand setting up a private, single use, strong password. Also, you should uncheck the box at the end of the form (if not already unchecked) to avoid getting mails from Strapi and their products.

After your account has been created, you will lend on the dashboard home page. This is your home page where you will be sent anytime you connect to your account on strapi.

Account types

We have currently two different account roles you can have for your account. You will have one or the other role assigned to your account :

1. Author
2. Editor
